Vaccines are an essential part of your pet’s protection against serious infectious diseases. For puppies and kittens, initial vaccinations are given in a series to allow the immune system to develop antibodies.
An incomplete series or one ended prematurely (before 4 months of age) may render the vaccination ineffective. Vaccines should be given every 3 weeks until the puppy or kitten is 4 months old.
After completing the vaccine series, an annual booster of all vaccines will be due 1 year after the final set and annually after that. After the initial rabies vaccine (1-Year Rabies), we offer the 3-year rabies vaccine.
