At Yucaipa Animal Hospital, you can expect to find full attention to your pets’ needs. We believe that you and your pet’s visit to the vet need not be stressful. To help you prepare, we would like to give you a brief outline of what to expect:
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by one of our client care specialist and engage in a brief Q&A to check in, shortly thereafter you will be ushered into an examination room with your pet. To expedite the check in process you can also print & complete a New Client Form prior to your visit.
Before your pet is seen by the veterinarian, our veterinary nurse will begin the exam by asking questions pertaining to your primary concerns, pet’s medical history, and current condition. The information you provide is crucial in assisting the veterinarian in designing the best treatment protocol.
After the veterinary nurse has collected sufficient information, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet with you present in order to ask you more in-depth questions and discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan. We encourage you to ask questions at this time. Our veterinary team wants to ensure that you’re completely comfortable with the information you are receiving and are dedicated to addressing any concerns you may have.
Once you approve the treatment plan, our team will begin treating your pet. Most treatments are performed onsite, however in certain circumstances some treatments will require that they are sent outside our facility. In that case, you will be notified and provided an estimate of the turnaround time. At the end of your visit, our veterinary nurse will return to the exam room to address any additional questions, comments or concerns you may have and will provide you with helpful pet care information.
Lastly, our client care specialist will process your payment and schedule any needed follow up.
